Inside Detroit is centered on the United Auto Workers and the corruption and labor racketeering by the Reuther brothers. Blair Vickers (O'Keefe) is head of the union and whose brother is killed during the bombing of UAW headquarters. Gus Linden (O'Brien) is the man behind the bombing and a gangster who is determined to gain control of the UAW.
